TEIJIN FRONTIER has developed a new fabric “NEXT-GENERATION DENIM”, super durable denim with gentle stretch and easy-care achieved by SOLOTEX® fiber for 2021AW collection.
The fabric offers the high functionality of polyester products such as quick-dry, wrinkle-free, and comfortable elasticity — while retaining the natural texture of traditional denims.
The fabric also tolerates repeated washing by using dope dyed raw materials instead of indigo dye.

TEIJIN FRONTIER has collaborated with Shinohara Textiles Co.,Ltd. and jointly developed “NEXT-GENERATION SOLOTEX DENIM” For 2021AW collection.

NEXT-GENERATION SOLOTEX DENIM is the product combining the craftmanship for Japanese authentic denim and the fiber spinning technology cultivated by TEIJIN FRONTIER.
Sustainability
Plant-derived ingredients are used for 37% of the polymers that make up SOLOTEX®. Thus, NEXT-GENERATION SOLOTEX DENIM fabric reduces consumption of fossil fuels, and helps cut down on greenhouse gases.
On the top of that, NEXT-GENERATION SOLOTEX DENIM adapts dope dyed technology which contributes to the water conservation and less emission of chemical wastage.
